HOW IT WORKS
From first call
to steady progress.
Month one builds the foundation and the plan. From month two, one focused improvement each month, chosen from a roadmap you can see and change.

THIS MONTH’S MOVE
Make it easier to enquire.
One agreed improvement, with a defined boundary
and a way to check it actually landed.
Four parts, designed
as one system.
Growth does not come from a website on its own. The site has to earn trust, capture demand, support consistent follow-up, and produce the information you need to decide what happens next. Those parts work when they are designed together.
01
→
Website
Explain the value, establish trust and create one clear next step. Everything downstream depends on this being right.
02
→
Lead capture
Collect the right information from the right person, and make sure it reaches whoever needs to act on it.
03
→
Follow-up
Help you respond consistently. CRM, email and automation come later, once there is something worth automating.
04
Improvement
Use measurement and real lead feedback to choose the next Growth Move, rather than guessing.
Month one:
build the foundation.
The first month is a build, not a retainer. It produces a working website, measurement that reports honestly, and the first version of your Growth Plan.
01 Discovery and scope
We agree the goal, the audience, the offer and the five core pages. Billing starts when onboarding starts rather than at launch, so neither of us is incentivised to rush the work or let it drift.
02 Build and approve
We build on our Block Smith system and you get one defined revision round at each milestone. Supplying copy, images and approvals on schedule is the single biggest thing that keeps the date.
03 Launch and measure
Forms, analytics, conversion tracking, hosting, SSL and backups go live with the site. Measurement is set up at launch because a plan built on missing data is guesswork.
04 Your first Growth Plan
We write the roadmap together: what matters now, what comes next, what can wait and what is not needed yet. That last category matters as much as the first.
Launch target is 30–45 days when approvals and assets arrive on time. Delays on either side move the date rather than quietly compressing the quality.
FROM MONTH TWO
One move at a time,
for as long as it is useful.
Your monthly payment keeps the site hosted, secure, backed up and edited, and puts one improvement from your roadmap into action. Small and finished beats large and perpetually in progress.
Every Move is agreed before it starts.
You know the opportunity, the work and how we will check it landed. If it turns out to be bigger than a Move, we say so and re-scope rather than run over quietly.
ANATOMY OF A GROWTH MOVE
Improve the quote enquiry.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Visitors reach the quote page and leave without asking. The form is long and the next step is unclear.
THE AGREED WORK
Simplify one existing quote form, rewrite its call to action, and check the confirmation message and notification email.
HOW WE CHECK IT
Test on mobile and desktop, confirm enquiry events are recording, and compare the next month of enquiries against the last.
WHAT IT IS NOT
A new multi-page funnel, a CRM build or a campaign. Those are projects, and they get their own scope and quote.
A larger initiative is split across Moves, combined on Accelerate, or scoped separately.
Care, Moves and projects
are three different things.
Most retainers fail because these three get muddled and the cheapest one silently absorbs the other two. Keeping them separate is what makes a $299 price honest rather than a slow argument.
INCLUDED, ANY TIME
Care incident
Handled as they arise. These do not use your Growth Move.
ONCE A MONTH
Growth Move
Three a month on Accelerate, and they can be combined.
AGREED SEPARATELY
Project or add-on
Written scope, price, owner and success measure before work begins.
An emergency means an outage, a security issue or lead capture failing — not a promotion booked late. Requests arrive through one agreed channel and are acknowledged within one business day.
The Planned
Growth Roadmap.
A living plan, not a fixed sequence. It records what you are working toward, what needs to be true before the next investment, the next few recommended Moves, and the evidence that would change direction.
PHASE 01
Build the
foundation.
Clarify the offer, build the website and get measurement working. Nothing further is worth doing until this is true.
PHASE 02
Strengthen
conversion.
Improve trust, calls to action, the pages that matter most, and local visibility.
PHASE 03
Build
discoverability.
Create the useful pages and proof that help the right buyers find you and believe you.
PHASE 04
Improve
follow-up.
Connect lead capture to how you actually respond, then add CRM, email or automation when it is justified.
PHASE 05
Scale what
works.
Optimise the channels that have earned it, automate the repeatable work, and set the next roadmap.
These phases are neither mandatory nor strictly linear. A startup may need lead capture before discoverability; an established business with strong demand may need follow-up work immediately. The roadmap reflects the business in front of us, and records what changed since the last version and why.
AN EXAMPLE IN PRACTICE
What a managed site
looks like after launch.
We built, and now host and manage, the Leader Lighting and Energy Services website: a clear offer, services that are easy to find, and a prominent assessment enquiry. The engagement continues after launch through maintenance and small, planned improvements.

How it runs
in practice.
The working rules that keep a monthly service from turning into an open-ended obligation.
Who decides what this month’s Move is?
You do, from the roadmap, with our recommendation. We will tell you which we think is the highest-value next step and why — and we will tell you when the thing you want is not yet worth doing because something upstream is not ready.
How do I send requests?
Through one agreed channel, with one decision maker on your side. We acknowledge within one business day. That sounds bureaucratic for a small business; in practice it is what stops work getting lost across three inboxes and a phone call.
What happens if I am slow supplying things?
The roadmap shifts. Client delays move the plan rather than creating emergency work later, and we will say clearly when a date is at risk. We would rather move a date than quietly cut the quality to hit it.
What if a Move turns out to be bigger than expected?
It stops for a scope decision. We reduce the scope, split it across months, use Accelerate capacity, or quote it as a project. There is no silent overtime, and no open-ended fixed price.
Do we ever review the whole thing?
Yes. Progress is reviewed quarterly and the roadmap is reset — re-ordered, added to, or trimmed. At around the twelve and twenty-four month marks it is worth a proper scorecard and a decision about whether to continue, downgrade to care only, or complete a handoff.
Can you just do the website and stop?
The plan is built as an ongoing service, so the honest answer is that it is not designed for that. If you want a one-off build, say so early and we will tell you whether we are the right people — and if we are not, we will say that too.
